Niki Gregg, Owner + Photographer
Niki is a two-time Photographer of the Year with Brazos Valley Professional Photographers of America and an eleven-time consecutive recipient of the Couple’s Choice Award. Her work has been featured in Houston Brides of Modern Luxury, Brides Houston magazine, Brides.com, The Woodlands Bride, 7 Centerpieces, Storyboard Wedding, Melissa Hearts Weddings, Florists’ Review (cover), The Knot.com (cover), and Bentwater Life Magazine.
With a passion that began in the film era, Niki first mastered photography in the darkroom—developing her own film and prints by hand. When digital photography arrived, she embraced the shift immediately, bringing the same passion for precision and artistry to her computer “darkroom.” Established in 2005, Photography by Niki is known for the polished, magazine-quality style and the ability to capture both beauty and meaning.
What Niki loves most is the moment her clients see their portraits for the first time at the studio slideshow reveal. The joy and emotion on their faces confirm that she has preserved a milestone, a memory, or a piece of their story that will be treasured for generations.
Born in Texas and raised in England, Niki is a proud Texas Tech University alum with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. She has called the greater Houston area home for nearly two decades. Beyond photography, she is mom of college daughter and Goldendoodle, and an avid traveler.
Through her studio, Niki continues to create heirloom portraits that celebrate individuality, confidence, and legacy, transforming meaningful moments into custom art pieces for the home.
Jaylene, Photographer
With over 25 years of experience behind the camera, Jaylene brings a wealth of knowledge, artistry, and heart to every session. Her eye for detail and ability to capture genuine emotion allow her to create timeless portraits that clients cherish for generations.
Jaylene and Niki share a long history of working together, having photographed weddings side by side years ago. Today, they’re thrilled to be collaborating once again at Photography by Niki, combining their shared passion for telling stories through beautiful imagery.
Beyond the studio, Jaylene is a proud mom and grandmother. Her warmth, patience, and nurturing spirit shine through in her work, helping clients feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
Kristin, Studio Manager
Kristin is the heartbeat of the studio, keeping everything running smoothly with her upbeat personality and friendly Texas spirit. She connects with clients from the moment they walk through the door, guiding them through the entire experience, from their portrait session to the exciting day they receive their finished artwork.
Before joining the studio, Kristin began her career teaching junior high, where she honed her gift for patience, organization, and encouragement. Today, those same qualities shine as she helps clients feel welcome, supported, and celebrated throughout their journey.
Outside the studio, Kristin enjoys life with her husband, their two teenage daughters, and the family’s beloved Boxer.
Morgan, Client Care
Morgan is a friendly voice you’ll often hear when you call the studio. With a warm, helpful approach, she guides clients through booking their sessions and answers every question along the way, making the process seamless and stress-free.
As a mom of two little ones, Morgan knows how important it is to capture life’s fleeting moments. She brings that same care and attention to keeping the studio’s schedule organized and ensuring every client feels supported from the very first conversation.
